Mount Gilead Recreational
Center
A
large recreational facility on Park Avenue and Cherry Street,
close to nearby schools, is an ideal setting for leisure time
activities. This has been called "Mount Gilead Rec Center"
for many years. The area constitutes a large-sized swimming pool,
a smaller pool for infants, basketball and tennis courts, volleyball
court, and five ball diamonds for baseball and softball. In the
winter, facilities are available for ice skating. A soccer complex
has been developed in the northeast sector of the village on
the water plant site.
Pool Hours: 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday through Saturday
1:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday
