The purpose of the Mount Gilead Mayor's Court is to provide the community with a local judicial forum to rule on misdemeanor cases that are alleged to be in violation of the Mount Gilead Codified Ordinances. The Mayor's Court also provides a Violation Bureau to collect payments for violations that do not require a court appearance.
Mayor's Court is scheduled twice monthly at 5:00 p.m. The first court is the Wednesday following the first Monday of the month. The second court is two weeks later.
