Bi monthly reports are completed for Council. These reports generally
outline what is taking place in the Village between Council meetings.
I have placed these reports on line for your (the residents)
information. They highlight projects and problems which are on-going
inside the Village along with status of the problem or project.
They are general in nature and are intended to give Council a
snapshot of the two week activities. The report is reviewed during
Council, where Council may ask additional questions if they wish.
One of my highest priorities is to keep the community advised.
The Mayor, Clerk/Treasurer, Staff and I do our best to provide
a high level of service to the community. Seasonal newsletters
are prepared by the staff, highlighting services that are upcoming
and information related to income taxes, water, sewer, trash,
police and fire.
We have also implemented a citizen complaint form. This form
helps us to track a problem reported by a resident or concerned
citizen. Each complaint or suggestion is logged by the person
taking the call in the office and given to the Administrator
for resolution. This is how your calls to the Mayor, Clerk or
Administrator will now be handled.
Residents should feel free to call our office, should you
have questions pertaining to the operation of the Village or
questions about their water, sewer and trash bills.
Some of the services provided to the residents are; snow removal,
street cleaning, spring and summer brush chipping, staffing and
operation of the yard waste facility, located at the sewer plant,
fall leaf pickup and just general upkeep of the streets and Village
The Service Department made up of nine (9) employees. These
employees are responsible for the maintenance of the streets,
water distribution system, water plant, sanitary sewer collections
system, sanitary sewer plant and the storm sewer system.
I cant say enough about my team and their dedication
to providing quality services to you the residents of the Village.
