10-291 Wednesday September 1st at 11:16 am Brush 12 responded to a reported fire in a grill with kerosene being used to start the fire. Brush 12 arrived on scene at 11:23 and determined the there was no fuel on scene and that the fire was not illegal. The grills was being used to heat cans of food. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 11:31 am.
10-292 Thursday September 2nd at 2:49 pm Brush 12 responded to the area of 101 West High Street to investigate smoke in the air. Firefighters arrived on scene at 2:51 pm finding a small camp fire in the back of the property. Firefighters extinguished the fire and explained the EPA regulations and local codes. Brush 12 was returning when the next alarm came in at 2:55 pm.
10-293 Thursday September 2nd at 2:55 pm Rescue 11 was dispatched to an MVC motorcycle crash at 6001 SR 61 North. Rescue 11 responded at 2:56 pm arriving on scene at 3:00 pm finding one victim sitting in a chair in the driveway. Firefighters assisted Medic 1 with the patient and provided a driver to MCH. Rescue 11 returned to quarters after picking up the firefighter driver at MCH at 3:30 pm.
10-294 Friday September 3rd at 1:40 pm Rescue 11 responded to 1641 Road 27 to assist a Medic Squad with moving a patient from the squad to the house. Rescue 11 was cancelled on the response at 1:50 pm by the Medic crew. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 1:51 pm.
10-295 Friday September 3rd at 5:55 pm Brush 12 responded to a reported illegal burn at 291 West High Street. Brush 12 arrive don scene at 6:00 pm finding a small wood fire that was not illegal except that they did not have a permit. The occupants were advised of the codes and law, the fire was extinguished. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 6:28 pm.
10-296 Friday September 3rd at 6:14 pm Rescue 11, Brush 12 and 17 responded to an MVC motorcycle and car. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 6:17 pm, assisted with the patient and returned to quarters at 6:24 pm.
10-297 Saturday September 4th at 6:13 pm three firefighters in their personal vehicles (POV’s) responded to 73 West High Street to assist lady in wheel chair up the stairs into her home. Firefighters arrived on scene at 6:17 pm and returned to quarters at 6:25 pm.
10-298 Saturday September 4th at 8:37 pm Brush 12 responded to 73 West High Street to assist the same lady from the house down the steps to her wheel chair. All units returned to quarters at 8:47 pm.
10-299 Saturday September 4th at 10:53 pm Rescue 11 responded to I-71 mm 153.5 for a vehicle fire. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 11:04 pm finding a working car fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire at 11:12 pm and returned to quarters at 12:15 am.
10-300 Tuesday September 7th at 5:42 pm Rescue 11, Engine 15, Brush 12, Tower 18, Engine 23 and Engine 30 responded to 14 North Cherry Street for smoke coming from the structure. After investigation it was found the a light ballast had burned out causing the smoke. All units returned to quarters at 7:10 pm.
10-301 Friday September 10th at 1:32 pm Rescue 11 and Tanker 14 were dispatched to I-71 mm 153 for a car fire. As units responded they were cancelled by OSP at 1:46 pm returning to quarters.
10-302 Friday September 10th at 7:41 pm Rescue 11 was dispatched to 600 Douglas Street for mulch smoldering. Firefighters determined that he cause of the fire was electric wires underground shorting and catching the mu8lch on fire. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 6:27 pm.
10-303 Saturday September 11th at 12:46 am Rescue 11 responded to an MVC with vehicle fire and a second fire pin in. Firefighters extinguished the car fire and extricated the victim from the other car. Units remained on the scene until 02:06 am assisting Medics and extinguishing hot spots. All units returned to quarters at 3:58 am.
10-304 Saturday September 11th at 5:36 pm Firefighter 19-27 responded to assist Medic 1 at 520 Cypress Lane. Firefighter returned home at 5:53 pm.
10-305 Monday September 13th 1:59 am Rescue 11, Engine 15 and Tower 18 responded to 555 Marion Road, Kroger Store, for a fire alarm. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 2:08 am. After investigating firefighters found that the alarm was false, but that the alarm could not be shut off. Firefighters advised the manager to call the alarm company to have the problem corrected. All units returned to quarters at2:35 am.
10-306 Monday September 3th at 1:59 am Rescue 11, Engine 15, Engine 23, Engine 112 and Tower 18 responded to 555 Marion Road, Kroger Store for a fire alarm. The alarm was in the duct air ventilation system. No reason for the alarm was found. All equipment returned to quarters at 2:35 am.
10-307 Monday September 13th at 1:09 pm Rescue 11 responded to 371 South Delaware Street for a fire alarm. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 1:13 am finding burned food on the stove in apartment 100. Fire crews vented the structure and reset the alarm system, returning to quarters at 1:32 am.
10-308 Tuesday September 14th at 7:11 am Chief 101 and Rescue 11 responded to 651 Marion Road, Morrow County Hospital for a fire alarm. The alarm was in the duct air ventilation system. No reason for the alarm was found. All equipment returned to quarters at 7:30 am.
10-309 Tuesday September 14th at 6:33 pm Brush 12 responded to lines down at 5568 US 42 North. Brush 12 arrived on scene at 6:42 pm and advised that the lines were down and alive. Brush 12 crew stood by on the scene until Coop Power arrived at 7:34 pm when they returned to quarters.
10-310 Sunday September 19th at 4:14 pm Station 19 was dispatched to an MVC at the intersection of Road 11 and State Route 61. Captain 105 responded direct to the scene and cancelled the fire department at 4:19 pm. There were no fluid leaking from the vehicle and no injuries.
10-311 Monday September 20th at 8:58 am Station 19 was dispatched for lifting assistance at 367 South Delaware Street apartment 105. Brush 12 responded to the scene and advised to call for additional assistance. Rescue 11 responded and after arrival requested Chief 101 respond. All companies worked on the scene until 10:08 moving the patient from the bathroom to the Medic. All units returned to quarters at 10:10 am.
10-312 Monday September 20th at 3:48 pm Tanker 14 responded MA with Station 49 for a working barn fire at 8811 Road 34. Tanker 14 arrived on scene at 4:05 pm supplying water. Tanker 14 was released at 5:28 pm returning to quarters at 5:36. Firefighters left the station after cleanup at 6:10 pm.
10-313 Monday September 20tha t 10:20 pm Brush 12 responded to assist Medic 1 at 795 Westview Drive. Brush 12 arrived on scene at 10:24 pm, assisted the Medic and returned to quarters at 10:32 pm.
10-314 Tuesday September 21st at 5:43 pm Rescue 11 responded to 4353 State Route 61 for an MVC. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 5:52 pm, checked the vehicle and motorcycle and returned to quarters at 6:5 pm.
10-315 Wednesday September 22nd at 8:56 pm Brush 12 and Chief 101 responded to 3376 Road 127 for a reported illegal burn. The fire had been illegal prior to arrival. The owners were advised of the burning regulations. Brush 12 and Chief 101 returned to quarters at 9:15 pm.
10-316 Wednesday September 22nd at 9:57 pm Station 19 was dispatched to 600 Douglas Street for a fire alarm in apartment B-4. Chief 101 responded direct to the scene to find burned food on the stove. Brush 12 responded non-emergency for the report, All units returned to quarters at 10:16 pm.
10-317 Thursday September 23rd at 11:40 am Rescue 11 responded to Flying Horse Ranch at 5260 State Route 95 for a fire alarm. When Rescue 11 arrived on the scene they were advised that they were testing and the system had dropped off of test and went into monitoring mode. Rescue 11 returned to quarter at 12:05 pm.
10-318 Thursday September 23rd at 1:42 pm Rescue 11 and Brush 12 responded MA with Cardington Fire for a grass and brush fire at 2636 Road 136. Units arrived on scene at 1:48 pm and assisted with the extinguishment of the fire. All units returned to quarters at 2:25 pm.
10-319 Thursday September 23rd at 3:05 pm Rescue 11 and Brush 12 responded MA with Cardington Fire for a grass and brush fire at 2753 Road 136. Units arrived on scene at 3:11 pm and assisted with the extinguishment of the fire. All units returned to quarters at 4:30 pm.
10-320 Thursday September 23rd at 4:55 pm Rescue 11, Tanker 14 and Brush 12 responded to a combine fire on road 115 just East of road 114. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 5:05 pm finding that the fire had been extinguished by the owner. Firefighters used Brush 12 to extinguish hot spots and declared the fire out at 5:06 pm. All units returned to quarters at 5:32 pm. Firefighters cleaned equipment and left the station at 5:45 pm.
10-321 Friday September 24th at 12:06 am Engine 15 for a RIT Engine and Tanker 14 for water responded MA with Station 49 for an occupied structure fire at 8669 Road 34 in Washington Township. All Station 19 units were released from the scene at 3:49 am returning to quarters at 4:04 am. Clean up took until 5:00 am.
10-322 Friday September 24th at 2:01 pm Brush 12 responded MA with First Consolidated Fire for a brush and grass fire at 6075 Tittle Baugh Road in Marion County. Brush 12 arrived on scene at 2:12 pm and assisted with the extinguishment of the fire. Brush 12 was released at 3:02 pm returning to quarters at 3:20 pm.
10-323 Friday September 24th 3:33 pm Tanker 14 was dispatched MA with Station 29 for a combine fire at the intersection of road 169 and 155. Tanker 14 was cancelled at 3:38 pm and returned to quarters at 3:47 pm.
10-324 Saturday September 25th at 7:55 pm Brush 12 responded to 335 Lincoln Avenue for a reported illegal burn. Firefighters found a small camp fire a stone ring. The owner was advised of the burning regulations and advised to get a permit for the fire. The fire was out when Brush 12 returned to quarters at 8:11 pm.
10-325 Sunday September 26th at 11:14 am Rescue 11, Engine 15, Engine 30 and Engine 23 for RIT were dispatched to reported house fire at 284 West High Street. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 11:18 finding food burned on the stove. All MA units were cancelled 11:20 am. Firefighters cleared the house of smoke and then returned to quarters at 11:30 am.
10-326 Wednesday September 29th at 9:32 am Rescue 11 and Chief 101 responded to 48 East High Street for a fire alarm. Chief 101 arrived on scene at 9:35 am finding that the water flow alarm had dropped. The building was checked and the alarm was reset. All units returned to quarters at 9:46 am.
10-327 Wednesday September 29th at 12:34 pm Rescue 11 and Chief 101 responded to 555 Marion Road, Kroger, for a fire alarm where a pull station had been pulled accidently. The store called and advised that the alarm was accidental and to cancel all units. Station 19 was cancelled at 12:35 pm.
10-328 Wednesday September 29th at 5:06 pm Station 19 was dispatched to 3706 Road 115 for an MVC. Captain 105 responded direct to the scene at 5:10 pm arriving on scene at 5:14 pm cancelling the fire department. Captain Young 105 returned to his residence at 5:33 pm.
10-329 Wednesday September 29th at 8:59 pm Station 19 was dispatched to 555 Marion Road, Kroger, for a fire alarm. Chief 101 responded direct to the scene finding the system had alarmed due the earlier not being reset. Chief 101 instructed the manager on duty how to reset the pull station and reset the system. Chief 101 returned to quarters at 9:12 pm.
10-330 Thursday September 20th at 4:36 pm Station 19 was dispatched for a hydrant leaking at 3613 Road 115. Chief 101 and firefighter 19-33 responded to the area finding a hydrant was flowing water. Firefighter Kunze, 19-14 called and advised Chief 101 that there had been a water leak at the school that day. Chief 101 advised fire control that the hydrant was being flushed. Al units returned to quarters at 4:45 pm.
10-331 Thursday September 20th at 9:58 pm Station 19 was dispatched to 651 Marion Road, Morrow County Hospital, for a fire alarm in the duct detector. Chief 101 responded direct to the scene arriving at 10:00 pm. After investigation no fire was found and it was determined that the system had malfunctioned. Chief 101 returned to quarters at 10:20 pm.
