10-187 Wednesday June 2nd at 7:22 pm Rescue 11 and Engine 15 responded to I-71 mm 151 for a bus rollover with possible injury. All responding equipment staged at the Shell Station since no bus could be located. The actual location was found to be at the 135 mm in Delaware County. All equipment returned to quarters at 7:59 pm. 10-188 Thursday June 3rd at 3:31 pm Rescue 11 responded to I-71 mm 149 MA with Station 39 for an MVC involving 1 car. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 3:43 pm, assisted with the patient, disconnected the battery and returned to quarters at 3:55 pm arriving at 4:06 pm. 10-189 Friday June 4th at 5:00 pm Brush 12 responded to I-71 mm 144 MA with Station 39 for a grass fire along the roadway. At 5:22 Brush 12 was cancelled when Station 39 responded. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 5:50 pm. 10-190 Saturday June 5th at 9:37 am Station 19 was dispatched for a fire alarm at 371 South Delaware Street. As firefighters arrived on station they were notified that it was a false alarm, burned food on the stove. No units responded at 9:41 am. 10-191 Saturday June 5th at 1:14 pm Brush 12 responded to 6220 St Rt 95 for EMS assistance. Brush 12 was cancelled at 1:20 pm when Station 39 responded. Brush 12 arrived in quarters at 1:28 pm. 10-192 Sunday June 6th at 8:24 am Station 19 was dispatched to 619 Marion Road, The County Building for a fire alarm. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 8:29 am and with the key holder checked the building and found a smoke detector in a basement room activated for no apparent reason. The system would not reset and was put out of service until the repair company could be notified. Rescue 11 returned to quarter at 8:54 am. 10-193 Sunday June 6th at 3:33 pm Rescue 11 responded to the intersection of St Rt 95 and C R 130 for a one car MVC. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 3:42 pm finding a vehicle off the side of the road with all out of the car. Firefighters checked out the vehicle and returned to quarters at 4:17 pm. 10-194 Wednesday June 9th at 4:24 pm Engine 15 responded MA with Station 29 to 2681 State Route 6` South for a reported house fire with smoke. Units arrived on scene at 4:40 pm. Chief 201 went back to investigate and found no fire. All MA units were released at 4:47 pm returning to quarters at 5:04 pm. 10-195 Thursday June 10th at 5:41 pm Station 19 was dispatched to an MVC at the intersection at alley between Rich and Cherry and West Marion Street. Chief 101 responded direct at 5:41 pm arriving at 5:43 pm. Chief 101 requested Brush 12 respond to disconnect the battery and put absorbent on the spilled antifreeze. All units returned to quarters at 5:54 pm. 10-196 Thursday June 10th at 9:46 pm Station 19 was dispatched to an illegal burn across form 5420 State Route 95 East. Brush 12 arrived on scene at 10:00 pm and requested Tanker 14 respond due to the size of the fire. The fire contained construction debris, a couch and other trash that is illegal to burn. All units returned to quarters at 11:10 pm. 10-197 Saturday June 12th at 2:36 am Engine 15 was dispatched to 125 Midland Avenue in Cardington for a working house fire as a RIT truck. Engine 15 arrived on scene at 2:51 am and was requested to return to Mt. Gilead for a reported fire alarm at 267 South Delaware Street. Engine 15 returned to 367 S Delaware Street at 3:04 am. After assisting Rescue 11 crew, Engine 15 returned top Cardington to assist with overhaul at 3:10 am. Engine 15 returned to quarters at 4:28 am and was finished with cleanup at 5:30 am. 10-198 Saturday June 12th at 2:49 am Station 19 was dispatched for a fire alarm at 367 South Delaware Street Apartment 202. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 2:56 am and Engine 15 returning from Cardington at 3:04 am. The fire alarm was from a humidifier that caused the smoke detector to alarm. There was no fire. Engine 15 returned to Cardington and Rescue 11 returned to Station at 3:30 am. 10-199 Monday June 14th at 6:19 am Station 19 was dispatched to 841 Marion Road to investigate an out fire in a wall light fixture. Chief 101 and Firefighter Walker 19-07 responded at 6:25 am. Both investigated and found that the fire was out. The light fixture was removed form the electrical circuit and given to the maintenance man to check out. All units left the scene at 6:45 am. 10-200 Monday June 14th at 8:49 am responded MA for Medic 2 for a laceration on the foot. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 8:52 am, controlled the bleeding until Medic 2 could arrive from Cardington. Medic 2 arrived at 8:59 am, firefighters assisted with loading the patient into the squad and then returned to quarters at 9:11 am. 10-201 Thursday June 17th at 8:27 am Rescue 11 with Medic 1 an d9 responded to an MVC at 194 Marion Street, West. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 8:29 am and determined that this was a non injury MVC. Medic 9 cancelled all EMS. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 8:40 am. 10-202 Thursday June 17th at 5:41 pm Station was dispatched MA with Station 29 for a house fire at 308 High Street in Fulton. Engine 15 responded at 5:47 pm and cancelled at 5:51 [m returning to quarters at 6:00 pm. 10-203 Thursday June 17th at 9:39 pm Chief 101 and Brush 12 responded to 397 South Delaware Street for a camp fire beside a mobile home at lot # 21. Units arrived on scene at 9:49 pm and advised the occupant that it was illegal to have a camp fire. The occupant became very belligerent and finally extinguished the fire at 9:57 pm. All units left the scene at 9:57 returning to quarters at 10:02 pm. 10-204 Friday June 18th at 9:50 pm Station 19 was dispatched MA with Station 29 for a reported structure fire at 428 South Marion Street. Cardington firefighters arrived on scene and cancelled all MA equipment at 9:55 pm. 10-205 Saturday June 19th at 9:17 pm Rescue 11 was dispatched for a gas can fire at 5248 Road 108 Hidden Lakes lot #442. Rescue 11 responded at 9:21 pm and arrived on scene at 9:33 pm containing the fire at 9:36 pm. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 10:00 pm. 10-206 Sunday June 20th at 2:53 pm Rescue 11 responded to I-71 mm 151 for an MVC with no injuries. Rescue 11 was cancelled at 2:02 pm returning to quarters at 2:11 pm. 10-207 Sunday June 20tha t 2:23 pm Rescue 11 was dispatched to I-71 mm 151 for an MVC. Rescue 11 responded at 6:28 pm. Units in the area were unable to locate anything. It was found that the MVC was at the 138 mm on I-71. All units were cancelled at 6:40 pm returning to quarters at 7:14 pm. 10-208 Monday June 21st at 2:20 pm Rescue 11 responded to 5248 Rd 108 for a reported illegal burn. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 2:33 pm finding person dismantling an old trailer and burning the parts. Per the EPA this is not allowed. The occupant was explained the burning laws and the fire was extinguished. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 3:15 pm. 10-209 Monday June 21st at 7:13 pm Station 19 was dispatched to a working fire at 4789 Road 112 the Jack Hutchinson residence. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 7:24 pm, Engine 15, RIT Engine 23 and Tanker 14 all arrived at 7:33 pm, Tanker 24 arrived at 7:42 pm, Engine 30 arrived on scene at 7:32 pm. The fire was brought under control at 7:55 pm and fully extinguished at 9:36 pm. All units returned to quarters at 11:00 pm. The estimated loss of $22,500 was not covered by insurance. 10-210 Monday June 21st at 7:43 pm, during the working structure fire, an alarm dropped at the Morrow County Court House at 48 East High Street. Engine 15 responded at 7:49 pm arriving at 7:54 pm. It was determined that the use of water out of a hydrant on the East side of town caused the water pressure to drop causing the sprinkler system to think there was water flowing. The alarm was reset and Engine 15 returned to the fire on Road 112 at 7:58 pm. 10-211 Tuesday June 22nd at 5:11 am Station 19 was dispatched to 4400 State Route 61 South at the Maple Run Veterinary Clinic doe a fire alarm. Captain Young 105 responded direct to the scene, Rescue 11 responded at 5:15 am arriving at 5:18 am. Due to a severe thunderstorm, it was determined that the building had been struck by lightning causing the alarm. Some appliances were damaged in the structure. All units returned to quarters at 5:45 am. 10-212 Tuesday June 22nd at 5:30 am Station 19 was notified that there were wires down at 117 East North Street. Brush 12 responded at 5:41 am arriving on scene at 5:43 am finding a TV cable across the road. Firefighters moved the cable to the side of the roadway and returned to quarters at 6:00 am. 10-213 Tuesday June 22nd at 10:51 pm Station 19 was dispatched to the Morrow County Jail to assist Medic 1 with an inmate that had fallen. Brush 12 responded at 10:51 pm and Medic 1 arrived on scene and cancelled Station 19 since the patient was accessible. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 10:52 pm. 10-214 Wednesday June 23rd at 10:16 am Rescue 11 responded at 10:16 am to assist Medic 1 with a patient at 795 Westview Drive Apartment A. Firefighters assisted Medic 1 with the patient and returned to quarters at 10:32 am. 10-215 Wednesday June 23rd at 10:59 am Rescue 11 was dispatched to 146 South 4th Street in Cardington for a reported house fire. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 11:09 am, assisted Cardington and was released at 11:27 am returning to quarters at 11:40 am. 10-216 Wednesday June 23rd at 4:13 pm Brush 12 was dispatched to 5470 Road 109 for wires down. Brush 12 responded at 4:17 pm, arrived on scene at 4:29 pm. The fuse on the transformer was blown and there were no line down. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 4:40 pm. 10-217 Friday June 25th at 4:21 pm Brush 12, Firefighters 19-06, 19-27 and 19-36 responded to the intersection of HPM Street and Lincoln Avenue to assist Medic 1 with a patient. Units arrived on scene at 4:29 pm and returned to quarters at 4:47 pm. 10-218 Friday June 25th at 4:27 pm Firefighters 19-04, 19-07, 19-16 and 19-36 responded to 92 North Main Street to assist Medic 2 with a patient. All units arrived on scene at 4:36 pm and returned to quarters at 4:44 pm. 10-219 Friday June 25th at 6:06 pm Rescue 11 responded to the intersection of Road 76 and Road 99 for an MVC involving 3 vehicles. Rescue 11 responded at 6:10 pm and arrived on scene at 6:15 pm. Firefighters assisted EMS in packaging the victims and disconnected the batteries. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 6:30 pm arriving at 6:376 pm. 10-220 Saturday June 26th at 12:02 pm Station 19 was dispatched for a smoke smell at 367 South Delaware Street. Rescue 11 responded at 12:09 pm. Unit 19-29 was in the area and checked out the scene. It was determined that the smoke smell was from cigarettes and Rescue 11 could cancel. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 12:15 pm. 10-221 Sunday June 27th at 1:54 am Engine 15 responded with Medic 1 for a full arrest on State Route 95. Engine 15 arrived on scene at 2:21 am and assisted Medic 1 with the patient. Engine 15 returned to quarters at 2:54 am. 10-222 Sunday June 27th at 6:41 am Station 19 was dispatched to 72 North Main Street for a CO check. Brush 12 arrived on scene at 6:56 am and checked for CO. There was a reading of 48 ppm and it was determined that the cause was the kitchen stove. Owner was advised to shut the stove off and call a maintenance person to repair it. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 7:51 am. 10-223 Sunday June 27th at 8:19 am Station 19 was dispatched to 271 South Delaware Street for a fire alarm. Engine 10 responded to the scene at 8:20 am arriving on scene at 8:21 am. The building was checked out and determined that the alarm had malfunctioned. Engine 10 returned to quarters at 8:34 am. 10-224 Sunday June 27th at 9:39 pm Tower 18 was dispatched MA with First Consolidated F D for a fire at the Marion Industrial Park on State Route 309. Tower 18 responded at 9:45 pm and was cancelled at 9:53 pm when the fire was brought under control. Tower 18 returned to quarters at 10:10 pm. 10-225 Monday June 28th at 1:00 am Station 19 was dispatched to 950 Meadow Drive for a fire alarm at the Mental Health Building. Rescue 11 and Engine 15 responded at 1:11 am arriving on scene at 1:14 am. The building was checked out and nothing found. All units returned to quarters at 1:36 am. 10-226 Monday June 28th at 6:32 pm Station 19 was dispatched for a fire alarm at 371 South Delaware Street. Chief 101 responded direct to the scene. After gaining entry, the chief found that the same alarm code was found on many alarm panels, even at Station 19. Later it was determined that there was a phone line problem causing the alarm. Al equipment was released at 7:40 pm.
