10-118 Friday April 2nd at 9:15 am Station 19 was requested to assist Medic 1 with a patient at 5248 CR 108. The patient had injuries that needed special care in lifting. Brush 12 arrived on scene at 9:27 am and left the scene at 9:31 arriving in quarters at 9:51 am. 10-119 Friday April 2nd at 9:52 am Brush 12 and Rescue 11 responded first responder to 6034 Cr 76 to assist the patient until Medic 5 could arrive from Johnsville since Medic 1 was an the previous response. Rescue 11 arrive don scene at 9:58 am and evaluated the patient until Medic 5 arrival at 10:08 am. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 10:42 am. 10-120 Saturday April 3rd at 12:30 pm Rescue 11 and Engine 23 were dispatched to 466 Lee Street Apartment 40B for a cooking oil fire on the stove. Chief 101 responded direct to the scene arriving at 12:33 pm finding the fire was out. At that time Chief 101 cancelled all units except Rescue 11 to complete the report. Rescue 11 arrived on the scene at 12:35 pm. The victim was checked out by EMS and all units returned to quarters at 12:53 pm. 10-121 Saturday April 3rd at 12:47 pm Brush 12 was requested MA with Station 59 for a grass fire at 7555 CR 58 in Congress Twp. Brush 12 responded at 12:50 pm and was cancelled at 12:55 pm returning to quarters at 13:02 pm. 10-122 Saturday April 3rd at 1:31 pm Brush 12 was requested MA with Station 59 for a woods fire a 7710 C R 58 in Congress Twp. Brush 12 responded at 1:34 pm and arrived on scene at 1:43 pm. Brush 12 assisted units with fire suppression and then released at 2:00 pm returning to quarters at 2:51 pm. 10-123 Monday April 5th at 11:58 am Rescue 11 and Engine 15 responded to 600 Douglas Street for a fire alarm with unknown apartment. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 12:01 pm and located the apartment. Occupants of the apartment had burned the bacon and were now in the process of cooking eggs. No one had any clue that the fire department was enroute. I asked them if the alarm and strobe had worked and they said that it had but when the air cleared it stopped. I advised them that if an alarm goes off, please call 9-1-1 and advise them that there is no fire. All units returned to quarters at 12:11 pm. 10-124 Tuesday April 6th at 5:03 pm Station 19 was dispatched for a non-injury MVC involving 2 cars at the intersection of State Route 61 and County Road 115. A request to contain leaking antifreeze and possibly fuel. Brush 12 responded with 2 firefighters at 5:11 pm arriving on scene at 5:20 pm. Medic 1 and Medic 9 responded when a victim started to complain of a problem. Brush 12 assisted with traffic and moving the patient. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 5:54 pm. 10-125 Tuesday April 6th at 9:18 pm Station 49 requested a Brush Truck and Tanker from Station 19 and 59. Brush 12 and Tanker 14 responded at 9:22 pm and were cancelled at 9:22 pm returning to quarters at 9:24 pm. 10-126 Wednesday April 7th at 10:34 am Station 19 was dispatched for an illegal burn at 4848 Road 114. Rescue 11 and Brush 12 arrived on scene at 10:41 am and found a person burning wire coating off of the a bundle of wire. Firefighters extinguished the fire and returned to quarters at 10:49 am after informing the occupant of the State EPA burning regulations. Rescue 11 and Brush 12 returned to quarters at 11:00 am. 10-127 Wednesday April 7th at 2:29 pm Edison PD notified dispatch of an illegal burn at 107 North Boundary Street in Edison. Brush 12 responded non emergency and found a trash fire. The fire was extinguished and Brush 12 returned to quarters at 3:00 pm. 10-128 Thursday April 8th at 12:41 pm Rescue 11 responded First Responder to 38 North Main Street for an unconscious person. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 12:43 pm and assisted the victim until Medic 1 arrived at 12:53 pm. Rescue 11 firefighters assisted with moving the patient to Medic 1. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 1:00 pm. 10-129 Friday April 9th at 6:55 am Tanker 14 responded MA with Station 39 for a reported house fire at 29 East Sandusky Street in Chesterville. Tanker 14 responded at 7:00 am and arrived on scene at 7:13 am and was then released returning to quarters at 7:32 am. 10-130 Friday April 9th at 7:49 am Tanker 14 responded MA with Station 39 for a reported house fire at 154 East Sandusky Street in Chesterville. Tanker 14 responded at 7:53 am and cancelled at 8:01 am and was then released returning to quarters at 8:08 am. 10-131 Saturday April 10th at 3:38 pm Station 19 was requested MA with Station 100 (Caledonia) for a grass fire at the intersection of Roads 67 & 66 in Canaan Township. Brush 12 and Tanker responded at 3:42 pm and were cancelled at 3:44 pm returning to quarters at 3:46 pm. 10-132 Sunday April 11th at 8:38 pm Station 19 was requested MA with Station 49 for a grass fire at 4121 Road 61 in Washington Township. Brush 12 responded at 8:41 pm and arrived on scene at 8:47 pm. Firefighters assisted with the extinguishment of the fire and Brush 12 was released at 9:20 pm returning to quarters at 9:28 pm. Clean up lasted until 9:38 pm. 10-133Monday April 12th at 6:06 am Station 19 was dispatched MA with Station 59 to a possible house fire at 7041 Road 59in Perry Township. Tanker 14 responded at 6:10 am and was cancelled at 6:16 am after units from Station 59 arrived on scene. Tanker 14 returned to quarters at 6:16 am and arrived on station at 6:22 am. 10-134 Monday April 12th at 7:58 am Station 19 was dispatched for a CO alarm at 125 North Vine Street. Rescue 11 responded at 8:00 am and arrived on scene at 8:03 am. Firefighters checked the scene and found that he detector was bad and advised the owner to replace the unit. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 8:15 am and was in quarters at 8:19 am. 10-135 Monday April 12th at 7:51 pm Station 19 was dispatched to a possible house fire. It was reported that there were flames in the window. Lieutenant 107 was close to the scene and found that the flames were from a trash fire in the back yard and was reflecting in the window. Brush 12 went to the scene to advise the occupants of the State fire regulations and local ordinances. The fire was extinguished at 7:56 pm. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 8:04 pm. 10-136 Wednesday April 14th at 10:35 am Station 19 was dispatched MA with Station 39 for a grass and trash fire at 6070 County Road 25 in Chester Township. Brush 12, Tanker 14 and Rescue 11 responded at 10:37 am arriving on scene at 10:50 am. The fire was extinguished at 11:10 am. All units left the scene at 11:10 am and returned to quarters at 11:34 am. 10-137 Thursday April 15th at 9:05 am Station was dispatched to a fire alarm at 555 West Marion Road the Kroger Store. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 9:08 am to check the scene and it was determined that the water department had been flushing hydrants in the area and the drop in water pressure tripped the flow switch for the sprinkler system indicating that there was a fire and water was flowing. When Rescue 11 arrived on scene the manager had already reset the system and all was set. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 9:15 am arriving at 9:18 am. 10-138 Thursday April 15th at 3:30 pm Brush 12 responded with two firefighters to assist Medic 1 and 9 with an unconscious/unresponsive person on Neal Avenue. Brush 12 arrived on scene at 3:32 pm assisting the squad. A firefighter drove the squad to MCH, and Brush 12 followed to pick him up. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 3:55 pm. 10-139 Friday April 16th at 3:51 pm Rescue 11 responded to I-71 SB mm 151 for an MVC rollover. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 4:04 pm and found a non injury MVC. Firefighters checked the vehicle for any leakage and then Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 4:11 pm arriving in quarters at 4:30 pm. 10-140 Sunday April 18th at 3:06 pm Tanker 14 responded MA with Station 59 for a working house fire at 7196 State Route 314. Tanker 14 arrived on scene at 3:25 pm and was released at 3:39 pm returning to quarters at 3:49 pm. 10-141 Monday April 19th at 3:27 pm Rescue 11 was requested to assist Medic 1 at 196 South Main Street for the removal of a patient from the home to the Medic. The steps to the home were difficult for lifting. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 3:45 pm. 10-142 Tuesday April 20th at 4:02 pm Brush 12 was dispatched MA with First Consolidated F D for a field fire at 7719 Linn-Hipsher Road, Tully Township, Marion County. Brush 12 responded at 4:03 pm and was cancelled at 4:06 pm returning to quarters at 4:07 pm. 10-143 Tuesday April 20th at 4:06 pm Rescue 11 and Engine 15 responded to an MVC involving a school bus and a car at the intersection of County Road 20 and 109. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 4:16 pm and checked the vehicles. This was a non injury crash. Rescue 11 and Engine 15 returned to quarters at 4:29 pm. 10-144 Tuesday April 20th at 9:21 pm Station 19 was dispatched for a possible illegal burn at 5543 US 42 North. Brush 12 responded to the area to investigate arriving on scene at 9:29 pm finding the remains of an old house the owner was cleaning up. Firefighters advised the owner of the burning regulations and extinguished the fire. All equipment returned to quarters at 10:30 pm. 10-145 Wednesday April 21st at 10:38 am Rescue 11 was dispatched to assist Medic 1 and 9 with a possible unconscious/unresponsive person at Krogers pharmacy. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 10:42 am and assisted EMS with patient and moving the patient to the Medic. Rescue 11 left the scene at 11:00 am. 10-146 Thursday April 22nd at 8:14 am Brush 12, Tanker 14 and Rescue 11 responded to 5281 CR 103 for a reported illegal burn. We found a farmer burning a pile of brush and small logs in the middle of the field. The fire was out and firefighters advised him of the burning laws. All equipment returned to quarters at 8:45 am. 10-147 Thursday April 22nd at 2:37 pm Rescue 11 was dispatched MA to 3929 SR 309 for an MVC involving two vehicles. Rescue 11 responded at 2:37 and was cancelled at 2:44 pm in the area of SR 61 and CR 59. 10-148 Thursday April 22nd at 2:44 pm Rescue 11 was dispatched to assist Medic 5 with a patient at 4582 Road 51 since we were the closest unit. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 2:48 pm, assisted with moving the patient to the Medic and was released at 2:55 pm returning to quarters at 3:15 pm. 10-149 Thursday April 22nd at 6:17 pm Brush 12 responded non emergency to the area of 109 Boundary Street in Edison for a possible illegal burn. Brush 12 arrived in the area at 6:25 pm and searched the area but could not find anything. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 6:41 pm. 10-150 Thursday April 23rd at 2:14 am Station 19 was dispatched to 5401 CR 110 for an MVC car rollover with the car on its top in the middle of the roadway. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 2:25 am with Medic 1, SO units and OSP. The thermal imaging camera was used to search the area finding nothing. All units returned to quarters at 3:00 am. 10-151 Monday April 26th at 6:24 pm Brush 12 responded to a reported illegal burn at 103 East Vine Street in Edison. Brush 12 responded at 6:28 pm arriving on scene at 6:32 pm. Firefighters found cardboard and cans burning along the roadway. The fire was extinguished by firefighters. Firefighters advised the renter and owner of the burning laws again. Brush 12 returned to quarters at 6:44 pm. 10-152 Wednesday April 28th at 3:55 pm Rescue 11 responded to an MVC at the intersection of West High Street and Delaware Street. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 3:57 pm and checked the vehicles and nothing was leaking and no injuries. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 4:02 pm. 10-153 Thursday April 29th at 2:03 pm Rescue 11 responded to a reported MVC at 153 mm I-71. Rescue 11 staged at the interchange until Medical units drove the area and found nothing. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 2:25 pm. 10-154 Thursday April 29th at 11:26 pm Rescue 11 responded to an MVC at the intersection of US 42 and CR 24. Rescue 11 arrived on the scene at 11:34 pm, assisted with the patient and put absorbent on the gas leak, and set the cycle upright to reduce the fuel leak. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 12:00 am. 10-155 Friday April 30th at 3:36 pm Rescue 11 responded to 377 South Delaware Street for a fire alarm. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 3:39 pm to find some residents outside the building. Firefighters entered the structure, checked the alarm panel which indicated a pull station was the problem. Firefighters checked all pulls and found nothing wrong. The system was reset and all equipment returned to quarters at 4:00 pm. 10-156 Friday April 30th at 7:50 pm Station 19 and 59 were dispatched to 5831 Township Road 105 for a structure fire. Rescue 11, Engine 15, Tanker 14, Tanker 34, Engine 30 and Engine 50 responded. Rescue 11 arrived on scene at 8:09 pm finding a flower bed and the end of the mobile home on fire. The fire was extinguished at 8:32 pm and all equipment was released at 8:47 pm. All Station 19 equipment returned to station at 9:15 pm. 10-157 Friday April 30th at 9:57 pm Station 19 with 1, 4 and 9 were dispatched to an MVC rollover with two victims. Medic 1 and 9 arrived on scene at 10:06 pm finding two victims in serious condition. Two helicopters were dispatched to the scene for transport. Firefighters assisted with the two patients, set-up the LZ and secured the vehicle. Both patients were air lifted from the scene. All equipment was released at 11:19 pm and returned to quarters at 11:45 pm.
