Mount Gilead Fire Department   Mount Gilead Fire Department Responses  January February March April May June July August September October November December April 2009 09-110 Thursday April 16th at 10:03 pm Station 19 was dispatched to 2217 St Rt 95 for an MVC one car rollover with ejection. Rescue 11 responded at 10:09 pm and arrived on the scene at 10:15 pm. Firefighters assisted EMS with the patient and were asked to search for additional victims possible ejected from the vehicle. After searching the area firefighters determined that there were no other victims and returned to quarters at 10:53 pm.   09-111 Friday April 17th at 3:38 am Station 19 was dispatched MA with Station 59 for a working fully involved structure fire. Chief 501 cancelled the department at 3:43 am.   09-112 Friday April 17th at 10:45 am Rescue 11 and Engine 15 were dispatched to an MVC rollover car into a field North at 6666 St Rt 61. Firefighters assisted EMS with the victim and removed the battery connections. Rescue 11 and Engine 15 returned to quarters at 11:06 am.   09-113 Friday April 17th at 1:49 PM Rescue 11 responded to a car fire at the corner of West High Street and North Delaware Street. Rescue 11 arrived on the scene at 1:50 pm, extinguishing the fire at 2:25 pm. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 2:25 pm.   09-114 Friday April 17th at 4:24 pm Rescue 11 and Engine 15 responded to a multiple vehicle MVC at the intersection of St Rt 95 and County Road 109. Firefighters assisted EMS and removed the battery connections from all the vehicles. All units returned to quarters at 6:00 pm.   09-115 Friday April 17th at 8:18 pm Rescue 11 responded to a reported vehicle fire at the 153 mm on I-71. Rescue 11 responded to the area finding nothing and cancelled at 6:37 pm, returning to quarters at 6:46 pm.   09-116 Friday April 17th at 6:43 pm while returning from the reported car fire on I-71 Rescue 11 diverted to assist Squad 3 with a non-breather close to their location arriving at 6:48 pm. Firefighters assisted with the patient, one firefighter drove the Medic vehicle to MCH. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 7:45 pm.   09-117 Sunday April 19th at 1:00 pm firefighters responded to assist EMS with a patient on road 131. Firefighters returned to quarters at 1:45 PM.   09-118 Monday April 20th at 12:47 am Rescue 11 and Engine 15 responded to an MVC at 2825 road 27. Rescue 11 arrived on the scene at 12:53 pm. A victim was entangled in the vehicle and was extricated from the vehicle. Fire firefighters assisted with the victims and returned to quarters at 1:23 pm.   09-119 Wednesday April 22nd at 12:56 am Rescue 11 responded to 3887 Road 145 for smoke in the house. Firefighters determined that the dryer plug had been melting and that the circuit breaker had tripped protecting the house from a larger fire. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 1:25 am.   09-120 Wednesday April 22nd at 5:23 pm Rescue 11 responded to an MVC at 4436 Road 114. A cat had missed the curve and was in the field against two logs. Firefighters assisted the EMS with the patient and returned to quarters at 7:50 pm.   09-121 Thursday April 23rd at 12:40 pm Rescue 11 responded MA with Engine 30 for a vehicle fire on I-71 mm 150. Engine 30 requested Rescue 11 to stand-by at the Shell Station until the vehicle was located. Nothing was found and all units returned to quarters at 1:10 pm.   09-122 Thursday April 23rd at 1:29 pm Tanker 14 was dispatched MA with Station 29 for a structure fire at 1538 Township Road 136. Tanker 14 arrived on the scene at 1:42 pm and was released at 1:58 pm. Returning to quarters at 2:13 pm.   09-123 Friday April 24th at 9:48 Brush 12 and firefighters in POV’s responded to assist EMS with removing a patient form a home on County Road 9. Firefighters arrived on the scene at 9:53 and were released at 10:08 pm returning to quarters at 10:19 pm.   09-124 Friday April 24th at 12:05 pm Rescue 11 responded to East Union Street to assist EMS with entry into the home. Firefighters arrived on the scene at 12:07 pm and were released at 12:18 pm returning to quarters at 12:25 pm.   09-125 Saturday April 25th at 10:13 am Rescue 11 responded to a lawn mower fire at 209 Railroad Street in Edison. Rescue 11 arrived on the scene at 10:24 am extinguishing the fire at 10:29 am. Rescue 11 returned to quarters at 10:37 am.   09-126 Monday April 27th at 7:50 am Rescue 11 responded to assist Squad 1 and Medic 9 with a possible non-breather on State Route 671 North. Rescue 11 was cancelled at 7:57 am and returned to quarters at 8:05 am.   09-127 Tuesday April 28th at 6:45 pm Station 19 was dispatched to 41 East High Street to assist EMS with removing a patient form the Public Library. Firefighters arrived on the scene at 6:47 pm and were released at 6:56 pm returning to quarters at 7:00 pm.
