Incorporated in 1839, Mount Gilead has a small town
rural atmosphere combined with a colorful historical background.

Mount Gilead is a thriving community with many businesses
in the area and is preparing for the future with improvements
to the Local School System as well as many other improvements
to enhance our community.

| Life line screening is
using the fire station for testing individuals for stroke/carotid
artery, atrial fibrillation, abdominal aortic/aneurysm, peripheral
arterial disease and osteoporosis on June 4th starting at 9:00
am running until 6:00 pm. |
